General Description:
Under supervision of the Event Coordinator or other designated administrator, provide service and support at school-sponsored events to facilitate the various functions necessary for the safe, efficient and smooth operation of events. Duties may include crowd control, ticket sales, game operations, security, set up, clean up or other duties associated with school events.

- May sell tickets and admit patrons to events including counting change, handling cash and other financial transactions.
- May provide security and other crowd control duties.
- May keep score, keep time or provide other functions associated with game operations at athletic events.
- May video or photograph activities and events or provide other record-keeping duties.
- May assist with set up, clean up or other logistical duties.
- Communicate with direct supervisor regarding any notable situations that may arise at these events.
- Coordinate and work cooperatively with other staff as needed.
- Follow with integrity the procedures and practices of the District for handling cash, financial records, charging patrons the appropriate admission fees, safeguarding cash and tickets, etc. to ensure the proper handling of cash, checks, receipts and related records.
- Provide appropriate care for the safekeeping and protection of District equipment, facilities and other assets.
- Assure compliance with appropriate safety practices and procedures and with applicable federal, state and local codes, regulations and requirements.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding student, staff and management related information.
- Supports with integrity the mission, vision, goals and positive culture of Joseph City Schools.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Ability to calmly handle stressful situations involving parents, students, etc.
- Ticket sales/admissions: Ability to secure and handle cash and other payments, count cash, do addition and subtraction required for ticket sales reports.
- Communication skills sufficient to effectively perform assigned duties.
- Other qualifications may vary by assignment.
Physical Requirements:
Frequent standing, walking, moving, climbing stairs. Ability to handle stressful situations which require calm and reasonable responses.
Working Conditions:
Employee may regularly work both indoors and outdoors. Noise level in the work environment may be moderate to high. The employee must be able to meet deadlines with time constraints and interact effectively with students, game officials, other employees, and public.
